About

Composer Mark Daniel Kerry has built an impressive portfolio of work, featuring a wide range of musical ideas.

Mark’s work covers a broad range of genres and is regularly broadcast by Raidió Teilifís Éireann, the Republic of Ireland’s premiere broadcaster.
Outside of commercial works (which have varied in style from orchestral to folk music), Mark writes contemporary classical, electronic music and everything in between under a variety of aliases.

One of the unique selling points of Marks music is his ability create evocative and memorable melodies whilst still creating an effective underscore. His belief is that music should not have relevance just for the duration of the work or performance, but instead should be able to have its own identity and worthwhile existence.

Therefore, all of his music can be enjoyed both in conjunction with a performance but also as standalone music, in isolation.

Academic credits include a Diploma in Film Scoring from Berklee College of Music and an MA in musical composition from University College Cork.
